He told her that he believed it was "a perfect place for vampires" because there were a lot of old people there, and if any of them died after being bitten it would be assumed that they had had a heart attack. She said that after talking about "gothic" fashions, vampires and the paranormal he accused her of being "one of them" and begged her to bite his neck so that he too could become a vampire. By the time he was arrested he had regularly accused locals of being vampires. Hardman had also deliberately punched himself on the nose to draw blood in a bid to "tempt" them to bite him. Police were called and as an officer handcuffed Hardman he repeatedly yelled "bite my neck, bite my neck."

That's exactly what I was thinking.... I would figure murder alone would get you at least 25, but add to that the fact that he's nuts about vampires and becoming immortal, I would have put that mofo away for at least 50.

I can't believe he cut that lady's heart out! What a sick bastard.... :|

Wow 12 years for that kind of crime. Yea 12 years is a lot of time, but still, some liberals just screw the punishment system over way too much.

Actually that guy had his sentence reduced.


Also, this kid got life, the judge just said he should be put away for at least 12 years. Hopefully it will be much longer.
