last friday i rented a truck so i could move into my new pad(T3 internet FTW). well the stupid piece of crap was having mad transmission issues during my move. I was able to limp it to the new place but there was no way in hell it would have made it back to the center i rented it at. a UHAUL mechanic came out, looked it over, and had it towed away.
yesterday i looked at my online banking and noticed that uhaul had charged me $98!!!!!! for a 20 mile move!!!!
turns out, since i didn't fill up the tank, they charged me an extra $50 for it.
they've been nothing but arrogant, rude, and downright shady about this whole deal. now, I have no problems paying what i owe. $48 is plenty fair. but $50 for not giving a BROKEN DOWN truck a 1/4 tank of gas?! what are these people smoking!?
so i initiated a dispute through bank of america. I love them. they've been nothing but helpful to me(I know people have had bad experiences, but i haven't had one yet)
and that's why you should never use uhaul. /rant
