This when it was $24.99. I don't have the rest of the stuff, though, so it's not really a big deal.

Was the estimated delivery date always 1/27 or was it changed after the "failed" delivery today?

I've had packages sit in the Sparks distro center for days just so they could deliver on the 'estimated delivery date'. When I called to complain they said their policy was to not deliver before then since people may not be expecting their packages.

It was changed- it had been the 26th.

Ahh, it could be anything then. Heck, the driver may have had a traffic accident or something.

I assume you read enough reviews to figure you have a fighting chance to get it to work properly, as ECS motherboards are . . . not quite the best.

Out West, Fry's is famous for giving them away with processors.

I've never known anyone who actually bought one solo. ;)

I have, in fcat bought 3 or 4. never had a problem with any of them. Seems most problems were the user. 1 of the ones I bought was a return. Yet it worked perfect for me.

This particular board was actually noted as being rather solid, albeit possessing limited overclocking potential.

Nope. Combining this with the $65 E5200 from eWiz, the $10 4Gb Crucial DDR2 from a few weeks back, the 1Tb Samsung in HD for $90 (though I just missed that..was late ordering, so I'll wait for another), and the mATX case/PS I already have, and I'll end up with a pretty cheap system! I'll turn it into an HTPC eventually..have to find a good deal on a passive video card.

It just might- thanks! I'll do some quick research on it. :)
