Uh oh...

In a moment of absentmindedness a magnet was placed on top of my tv, and now its got the rainbow color syndrome. Is there anyway to easily/cheaply fix this? It's a 19" Sony Trinitron from 1993.

Search Google on "degauzers". Build one and degauze your TV.

Maybe you could lay your monitor face down over the rainbow (like dorthy) and degauss it? worth a shot.

Degaussing a computer monitor will also degauss the TV if placed next to each other. Give it a shot.

Put the TV on top of the magnet and that should take care of it for you.
