System/Network Admin is gone today and I'm covering his position until he is back tommorow
. I'm the intern ( I'm 16), but he is currently looking over the Arkansas law firm's computers. This is going to be a much better day
I now have a P3 1ghz 128mb ram system, nice upgrade from the one I usually use when he is here. I better go back to working as I have a large to-do list, but have already eliminated several items. One of my frustrating probelms is a laptop that misses keystrokes and sometimes mouseclicks... we have erased several things, registry cleaned, hard drive cleaned, bios updates, software updates, the works. I have a hunch that it may be related to the fact that his hard drive says it is FAT but is running Win98. I think this update MAY be related to the Win98 update, but I sort of doubt it as Sam ( admin) said that it would miss keystrokes in DOS. It could also be heat-related but HP sent it back saying no, ( well like they are a lot of help). Well I'll stop rambling now and get back to working
I love this job and I love working for the guy I do, he's only 21 or 22 and we have a lot of fun working. Peace!
