Did you just get done reading a romance novel or something? Unless she's some type of freak of nature I can't possibly see what would require a change of sheets. I guarantee I get laid more than you and I've never had that bad of an issue.

After drying out everything (oven in a very low heat), will anything come on?

Take it the the cell vendors store, they may be able to recover info.

And YES, you washed the sheets with the phone in it; you replace it.

The issue on why the phone was on the bed does not come into play; you both were in the bed rolling around.

oven? i've just let my electronics air dry before..what temperature is low heat..my oven bottoms out at 170

Airdry will still ahve moisture - you want to try and remove anything that might be trapped.

If your oven bottoms out at 170; bring it up to that temp, shut it off wait 5 minutes with the door open and then place the phone in there on an oven mitt (to protect it from the rack or any other metal). Close the door and when the overn has cooled, any moisture will have been sucked out.

its not even the money. i'd have a hell of a time replacing all my numbers on it. plus i'd be without a phone for a few days.

oh the nerve to ask whether you can pay half.

yeah but who puts the phone in the bed? thats not a logical place for a phone!

I agree, but my wife has done it for years.

I used to work at a cell phone repair store, don't put a phone in the goddamn oven. Take it apart very carefully, and use a blowdryer on low heat for as little time as possible to dry any remaining moisture. Use a toothbrush with some alcohol to clean all the contacts on the phone. The battery is probably gone, don't try putting it back into the phone, just use the charger to test it; a fried battery will short circuit a cellphone. The LCD looks like water condensed inside it though, that's going to be hit or miss, and replacing them isn't going to be worth it either (that's a Nokia 6102, it's worth $100 online new, LCD is probably $30-40 for both inside and out, and then you need $10 for a battery, provided everything else is still working).

First buy her a phone you cheap bastard.

Second, those are inexpensive phones, go grab a "pay as you go" for t-Mobile & put her sim card in it.

WIN...

Exactly. Use the microwave - it's much faster.

First off, gross.

Second, my cousin's daughter (2 years old) took her cell phone off the charger early in the morning and took it into the bathroom, climbed on a chair, and proceeded to fill up the sink with water and give it a "bath". Let's just say it didn't work for a day or two. My cousin took it apart, let it dry out (not in the oven), and it worked. So if that doesn't work, I'd recommend at least paying for half of the phone. Even if it wasn't your fault that she put the phone on your bed, it's completely disgusting that your sheets were so gross and you at least owe her that much because of it :p

How can you miss something like a cellphone when you gather up the sheets and drop them in the wash? And why do you blow your load into your sheets? And why did you have to include the soily details?

Must be one of those Christian pull-out things.

Based on your personal hygiene, you'll want to pay for the phone as gfs are probably hard to come by.

Pics of gf so we can better assess the situation.

Edit: should just buy her a new phone anyways, and a dinner that way you can get more "extracurricular activities" out of it.

Not worth it. He'd have to clean the sheets again.
