Hah. As soon as he hit the gear all you hear is "ErrSCreeeeetch". Hah. Yeah his car is toast. Not worth replacing a tire on that POS.

What a treat !
Yes I too think he threw it into 2nd gear,
the torque steer of FWD caused him to loss control.
Both seat belts were not in use, maybe next time they will roll it over....😛

OK, between the video, the pictures at the Honda site and this thread, I'll give the accident and the discussion 3 Uncle Ben's Thumbs Up .

Ohhhh so you just have to make us all aware you are the perfect citizen then instead right 😉

I don't know how he could of done that, but I tried to down shift from 5-4 at 60MPH and went from 5-2!! :disgust: NOT GOOD! Wheels locked until I hit the clutch again and I think I f#cked up some teeth on the gears but it's still driving. Hey, these GMC trucks are pretty tough. 🙂

Tries to drift a corner in a corolla, he hits the curb, wrecks the rear axle. He nearly hits a tree

Time from start to first "Oh sh1t!": 17 seconds. Amazing.

Theory on event sequence:

1. third gear is redlined hard.
2. Friend asks "supposed to redline?"
3. Driver realises dumbass move and rushes to upshift. Misses and shifts to 2nd instead of 4th(first oh sh1t).
4. Turns to look at stick and see what he did.
5. Hands turn wheel when head turns, moving the car partly into the dirt.
6. Dirt makes right side of the car move slower than the left, causing it to veer sharper into the dirt while he is probably braking, at which point he loses control.

It was a 4dr Integra... pre-VTEC. In other words, street racing with a grocery getter that they painted and slapped some rims on it.

*shakes head in disbelief*

It would have been appropriate if they rolled the car or at least gotten a few bruises. Idiots.

What a terrible driver.

He also hit the rev limiter in first, and then burned the clutch big time during the 1-2 shift.
