You're kidding right?
Makes good business sense .... ratings will climb!

I had trouble listening to Palin during the campaign. It remains to be seen whether I still have to change the channel when she makes an appearance.

She'll do fine if she follows her script, however it she decides to go all rogue and "mavricky," then the lulz will be epic....

I assume the point of this is to take each issue concerning the U.S. and present a folksy "solution" that can be explained in just under 15 seconds, making for a good soundbite but being completely useless and unworkable in reality. ("The solution to illegal immigration is to send them all home!")

Ms. Palin will do this for a couple of years and think that the sum of these TV clips constitutes an election platform. She will muscle her way into the GOP primaries and lose badly, taking a chunk of disenchanted GOP voters with her. Because of this Mr. Obama could probably flay a live bunny rabbit an hour before the 2012 poll opens and still win.

Fox does a good job of showing and telling their viewers what they want to hear. :D

It's true. Some people (imo of course) need daily, positive affirmation that the way they think is right. No pun intended. When I see people touting Fox's ratings, I have to laugh because it doesn't have the traction they think it does. For every viewer they tout, there are 10 who DON'T need this affirmation and aren't tuning in this or any other cable news network. It's like bragging that you have the biggest short bus. It's stupid.

Win-win move for both Fox and Palin. Both will make tons of money off this and generate a lot of publicity.

Hopefully she doesn't have an amateur hour show like Huckabee does. Much as I like him as a person, that show is a trainwreck.

Not only that, but they consistently poll below viewers of other networks with regards to knowledge of the basic facts on a lot of issues.

it's funny... I wonder who's going to make up the bigger chunk of the audience: people watching Palin because they like her or people watching Palin because they hate her.

either way it's a win/win for Fox News.

I wonder if this means that she (wisely) isn't planning a 2012 primary campaign, though.

Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck together, hosting yet another Comedy Hour on FOX, with special guest comedians Ann "who's yer daddy" Coulter, Dick "the prick" Cheney, Rush "the pill-popper" Limpballs and Joe "the chameleon" Lieberman cracking wise about the evils of health care reform and the moral decline of America. If only Rupert would grant this wish I would pay to see this happen.

Stewart and Colbert, eat your hearts out.

Ever hear of porn? But you may as well, since you have no use for the news other than a 'pretty girl'.

No doubt they got her in a contract she can't just quit. I suspect they'll be sorry.

contracts for employment services are fairly easy to get out of. the courts aren't going to order a private person to do anything other than pay money.

I cant fault Sara Palin for making $$$$$$ I would quit my government job (if I had one) and go into the private sector too.

LOL, really. I don't see the big deal here?? Hell, someday she may make some President a good press secretary?? :p

Yes, that's what I was referring to, a hefty financial penalty for quitting she didn't have as goveror.

Wonder what the ratings are going to be like tonight for her first appearance on O'Reilly.

(As you can see, he is killing the ratings anyways).

Unless you compare him to any other entertainment show (which is what it is) then he gets beat by wrestling of all things.

Fox- News and comedy all at once!

Good business move on the part of Fox. They know their demographic and will make a mint. Me? I get to laugh at the Internet soundbites :D

I didn't know Hillary was evangelical.. They threw her to the curb once a light skinned male with no negro dialect came charging in..

Yes, because getting 46-47% of the primary votes is "being thrown to the curb".
