But being tall also makes a lot of your life more difficult as well.

How? I'm 6' 1.5" and I couldn't ever imagine being any shorter than that. I can't think of any problems that would make my life difficult at my height?

girls flinging themselves at you? not fitting into a Gremlin?

I'm 6'5". I can't drive little tiny cars comfortably... I owned two small Saturns and have tried a Nissan 350Z and an Acura Integra... I will have to drive big expensive cars from now on because I'm making so much money thanks to me height!

I have hit my head on an enormous number of things (It's kinda sad, really). I sometimes wonder if my height contributes to my clumsyness. I can't fit well on planes, trains, the back seats of cars. If I was another few inches taller, it would be hard to buy clothes off the rack (I had two uncles like that).

Although the benefits probably outweigh the problems.

lol, our family home was built by very small people -- the ceilings are only a few inches above 6' and then there are light fixtures everywhere!!!!!

I'm 5' 11.5".

I am dying for that last 0.5" but it hasn't come in the last two years. 🙁 I'm only a young 21, so I'm still holding out hope. At least, I'm 6" w/ shoes on. 😛

Hey Maxdepth, I referenced that study in a post I made two days ago. I guess it exonerates me,whereas I was crucified for pointing out that height mattered in choices people made when it came to who gets the woman, for example.

GeeeeeeeeeeZ! You aren't that tall, ClueLis; so don't flatter yourself. :/ What's with all that 'I have hit my head numerous times'? I am 6' 1" tall (female) and my sister is 6' 2", yet none of us hit our heads. My brother, on the other hand, is 6' 9" and hit his head more than he deserved. 😛 He eventually got used to having to bend to pass through doors.

Generally, the average door and building accommodates tall people of about 6' 2" . . . or do you live in a country of tiny people? 😕 :/ Oh, I do understand the plane experience though. It's always a nightmare for me flying with an economy ticket. My legs suffer, unless I'm lucky to have no one next to me.
