Uh...how do I use a Mac3 Razor?

I'm turning 18 in just 5 days (woot!) and yesterday Gilette sent me a suprise present - a mach3 turbo with some shaving cream. up to know i've been using a elecrtic razor but now I want to use this.

Um...how? Do i put on the shaving cream and then begin swiping or what?

You use it like any other razor ... there's nothing to it.

Mach3 was great until today, when I woke up with a nasty allergie. :(

yup....quick hard strokes should do it....if you start bleeding it means you're doing it right. ;)

stick with the electric, it sucks gettting up in the morning and standing there shaving when in a few seconds with an electric you are done!

Heh they sent me one when I turned 18 also... I was already using them though.

Wash your face with hot water or take a shower (best option) before shaving..

Umm.. get your face wet, put on shaving cream, shave :cool:

Most people say to shave top to bottom, but my hair is extra thick or something, and only bottom to top gives me a clean shave.

I haven't watched TV since 1998 so I really don't remember anything much when it comes to television since i think its a waste of time

I still want to try it though but I don't want to kill myself...

But I'm seiously looking for help...MY parents are gone right now and since I don't have school i'm just kinda sitting here till 9PM when gradnit starts

Electric is NEVER as fast as a good razor. not as close either.

unless you don't have much facial hair.

besides, i shave in the shower and it's part of my routine, never takes me longer than 25 secs or so to shave.

Wait...so its Down to Up or Up to down?

Or what about left to right or whatever?

With the electric razor I would just kind of move it around in circles until it was all gone ;)

1. Shower
2. Lather
3. Shave in the direction of growth, i.e. if the hairs grow down, shave down.
4. Rinse well. Don't forget inside/behind your ears, or people will give you strange looks at the white foam in your ear.

just don't let the blades slice, as long as they are scraping you are ok. if the blades get turned and they slice, you'll have nice little lines down your face.

as long as the blades are SCRAPING it really doesn't matter up to down, down to up, whatever your comfortable with.

one more time, DO NOT SLICE.

You don't need a mirror as you can feel where the hair just like you can with an electric
