Ugly Betty

it reminds me of inspector gadget, but less entertaining. there is a strange silhouette of a villain that reminds me of the claw.

I've seen bits of it. It seems very well written and fairly clever. It's clearly marketed to women, and doesn't really seem to be for me, but it appears to me to be a quality show.

half the jokes are rehashes from the movie. not quite as appealing since the girl in it is ugly even without the "ugly gear"

thats what i was thinking from the promos

I've seen every episode and I think it's great....mostly for the acting and the way the humor is quick and subtle. Although, I think America Ferrera is quite good-looking even in the ugly garb.

I've watched it a few times and just can't see Vanessa Williams as an actress. Although she is attractive, I just don't like her as an actress (maybe it's her character she plays). Homely or Nerdy Betty would be a better title.

it is amusing. It is quite ground breaking in it's portrayal of a gay pre-teen boy. I'm amazed there hasn't been more of a protest from freaky religious/ traditional values types. it defies credibility much of the time, you have to wonder why Betty hasn't had a makeover yet when she works at the offices of a fashion rag, etc.

its a reover of an indian show that came on Zee TV on Dish. Same premise but in English. The shows name was Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin.

I watched an episode. That was enough for me. And it winning the award for best comedy last night just goes to show how irrelevant award shows are.

I thought it was a reover of the Spanish show Yo soy Betty, la fea.😕

Uh, it's had Salma Hayek as a guest star for a few episodes, which should cause AToTers to become obsessed with it. Wait, that only happens with Natalie Portman or Jessica Alba.

Cause your a bigot with a warped sense of reality?

I frankly can't see how anyone watches this, considering Earl and The Office are on at the same time. The last two weeks of Earl have been BRILLIANT and I was shocked to see Ugly Betty win Best Comedy last night.

NBC has revived Must See TV and more people should catch the shows on Thursday night.

It's a remake of a Colombian TV show.

Tivo, baby (not that I watch Ugly Betty). I'm with ya on The Office, but My Name is Earl has worn thin for me.

Oh I love my Tivo, but it's a single-tuner unit and I usually miss something if I'm not home. I'd upgrade to a dual-tuner, but then I wouldn't be able to keep my sweet sweet $12.95/mo plan unless I do a three year commitment.

I sort of vacillate between which show I like better, Earl or The Office. Earl lately has been really good and the Office is so-so. The Cops episode of Earl two weeks ago was hilarious.

30 Rock is consistently good. Scrubs is kind of up and down, although I'm a big fan of the show.
