Is it just me, but does anyone else get really pissed when they drop some food? You are about to chow down or in the middle of preparing some good food and then it either slips off the table or slips out of your hand and ends up all over the floor? I had just prepared some fettucini with chicken all ready to eat, BOOM all over the floor SAUCE everywhere all in the dust and dirty floor. I about died, arg.

I can handle a lot of stuff but seriously that just ruins my day. Anyone share similar experiences? :\

This is where having a dog comes in handy. :p

And yes, that sucks. Time to order a pizza and a maid.

Yesterday I was starving and on an airplane from Atlanta to LAX. They brought each of us 4 crackers and a container of cheese spread. I saved a bunch of cheese for the last cracker and couldn't wait to devour it. Then we hit turbulence and I dropped the damn thing. I had my head between my knees looking for it becasue i wasn't going to let some airplane filth ruin my joy and I couldn't find it anywhere. So yes, I feel your pain.

I once spent the big bucks and made shrimp & scallop fettuccine alfredo. I made a big bowl and set it on the arm of my recliner. As I sat down, I bumped the bowl and it fell between my leg and the arm of the chair. I saved about 60% of it.

I was so mad after spending all that money on seafood.

I feel your pain.

Other day three of us bought Jack in the Box at a drive thru and ate in the parking lot... bad idea since the winds were up. We lost 1 large soda, 2 ranches, and a medium curly fries on the hood of the car.

It's worse when a seagull steals it out of your hand when you're not looking...

You may as well leave it there for an hour; the 5 second rule simply does not work.

Tested after eight hours' exposure, the bacteria could still contaminate bread and bologna in under five seconds, but a minute-long contact increased contamination about tenfold (with tile and carpet surfaces only).[1]
Yeah, clearly leaving it for an hour vs 5 seconds is the same.

5 second rule only applies if you drop it on the ground full of bugs.
