Gall Bladder is an out-patient surgery nowadays.
My wife just had it done last April. In and out in less than 3 hours.
My daughter had it done not long ago, same thing. But then she spent a week on the sofa because she couldn't climb the stairs to her bedroom.Originally posted by: pyonir

No offense but your wife seems to have a number of unfortunate problems.

I had no idea they did it that way now... Man. :Q I'd rather stay in the hospital with a pretty nurse to bring me pain killers, like a vacation.

I had to stay overnight when I had mine out. Lathroscopic procedures are awesome!

You'd rather them cut you open all the way under the right side of your ribcage than have 3 little 1 inch cuts?

Hope you feel better soon.
It stores bile secreted by your liver. Stones can form and clog things up though, resulting in severe pain and the need to have it removed.Originally posted by: blazert40
