This. I do not want video news. Especially when your "correspondents" are some lame ass kids who aren't funny.
If a video starts, I close it and look for a printed article.

I'd just use a rss reader. Thunderbird gives a sane, consistent email interface, and also gets rss feeds.

Interesting that my laptop at work has the old layout (same browser - Firefox latest - though).

Cleared out my entire cache at home (Firefox - reset everything) and am back to the old layout. I hope it somehow stays but I doubt it.
