Last night around 8pm I started having blind spots. It was wierd.. I could focus on things, but had a blind spot to the right of me.. someone could come smack me in the face and I wouldn't have seen it. Also, my head hurt like hell. If I coughed or sneezed my head hurt MUCH worse. I went to be at like 11. I just woke up (12:30) and the blind spot has gone away, but if I cough or sneeze my head hurts like crap.

Any ideas?

I have been really stressed out. That would explain the temporary blind spots.. but what about the head pains when couging and crapp(ing)

Stop posting.

Go to the doctor.

Those symptoms could be mild, but they can also indicate something serious.

Better safe than sorry.

sounds like you have hypertension

you admitted the stress - do you exercise? poor diet?

nevertheless, you should make an appointment to see a real dr.

Those are serious symptoms, do not put it off. Anything that can cause pressure to or reduced blood flow to the brain, can effect your vision. It may just be inflamed sinuses.

Year, model, mileage, and what kind of maintenance has your head had....;)

Two things come to mind: ocular migraines and retinal detachments. Only the latter is serious.

Go see an opthamologist. :)

You know I remember watching an 'Unsolved Mysteries' type program where someone had a similar type of problem (black spots in there site of vision) and it was due to some type of degenerative eye disease. However, they were referred to some psychic doctor who envisioned the cure for the disease a many years prior to the case and had written the cure in his many volumes of journals.

Yes, indeed head to the doctor ASAP.

NO, that doens't explain ANYTHING. Stress will not cause that in most cases, and it's safe to assume that you're not one of the people who has that type of symptom when under stress.

Ok, that's some scary shiznat for someone wearing contact lenses...

On that note, lately my contacts have been kinda dry and making my right eye get *minorly* fuzzy in tiny spots now and then, but it doesn't sound like it's as bad as what you're seeing. I'm not sure what to say about the crapping headaches other than good luck!

Go to a doctor. I would suspect a severe migraine, but I'm not a doctor, and I don't even play one on TV ;).
