Woohoo! It just dropped down to 80 here.

With 65% humidity. :frown:

I honestly don't understand how you east coast folks can handle it. I would die.

CAN handle it.

That's exactly my point. 80ºF and 65% isn't that bad to you, but it's pretty unusual for around here. We almost never get humid heat.

And it sucks. I was saying that I don't understand how you people can handle 90% humidity and 95 degrees.. lol

You get used to it. And you learn to leave your A/C on whenever you don't want to sweat your balls off.

I thought that Portland would still be rather humid given that it's right on the Columbia River. Granted, it sucks when it gets hot up there, but at least it cools off at night up there (we'll only be getting into the mid 80's at night here this week).

Well, I'm sure we're a little more humid than say, the high desert. ;)

We get the heat lows comming up from California in the summer. When it's 85 - 100º, the humidity is almost always below 25%.

That's what I mean though. These last few days have been weird, an unusual pattern for the NW. Normally when the sun goes down, the temperature falls quite rapidly, until the normal low of around 55ºF, which is perfect IMO.

These last few days, it's been quite humid and staying in the 70s until like midnight. It's weird.

OMG im dying over here. You guys dont care because you all have air conditioning in your houses. Alot of homes in the pacific northwest have no AC cuz for 360 days out of the year theres no need. But for those 5 days i hate it.
