So i got a dvd from india (its a home made dvd of my aunts vacation but they had it edited in india and consequently it was encoded PAL).

We cant read PAL format, even my frigging COBY dvd player whcih can switch from PAL/NTSC isnt playing it right. Well i am not sure if it is, but when it does play its playing outputting to an NTSC tv.

Anyway i ripped the dvd, now i cant seem to figure out a fast way to re-encode the dvd to NTSC. Nero Vision 3 does it but its going to take over 5 hours..

ugh!

I know when my Aunt goes on vacation, if I don't see the home videos in under 5 hours I'll start to lose it also.

mine too, but mostly because of the "BRAIIINSSSS!!" and flesh-eating, since she doesn't leave her plot unless she's hungry.

I thought it said "conversation" also, but I read the entire post trying to figure out what conversation the OP was talking about.
