Ugh, the horrors of war...

I think that could be fixed. Skin graft obviously. But then again, it may depend on how long it has been healed. But then again, I'm not a doctor.

Interesting to me that AFP is carrying the picture and not the Associated Press. You don't see too many of those photos carried domistically by the AP.

What a depressing picture, that girl is only 7. 🙁

About 10 years at a Paintball Tournament I saw a player who was attempting to unscrew his large bottle of Co2 from his paintball gun. Instead, the threads unscrewed from the bottle itself, and the Co2 bottle shot off like a rocket directly in the mans face. The dude fell to his knees with a 4" hole in the side of his face, bleeding profusely. From what I saw on that day, the injuries were slightly less than the girl in the story. The good news is, the man got immediate medical attention, including hours of plastic surgery, and his face is somewhat normal despite the scars.

Man...

CO2 tanks(or tanks of any compressed gas) should never be taken lightly...

I was told the guy won a successful lawsuit against the manufacturer of the CO2 bottle, because the threads hadn't been properly Lock-tite'd on the bottle. This was at SC Village in Corona CA.
