I have never seen another operating system so inept at killing a process. If an adminstrator kills a process, it should die! none of this "This program can not be closed..." bullsh!t!


Argh fvcking peice of trash. Now I'm going to have to reboot jsut to kill a damn FTP client...

There are instances where a process is runaway and not able to be killed. There should be some sort of catchall feature that kills the process regardless of consequence under the Admin account, like in Unix.

I know I do. No other OS comes close to being able to give you both universal compatibility with the widest range of software and hardware, as well as security and stability... And before you laugh at the latter part ask yourself if your favorite OS gives you the former...

i have yet to get a process that i cannot kill
