So, i havent played ball that much, but i have 4 times this year so far... when i was younger i always played... but now, after im done playing, ill come home, drink some water slowly, and then ill get a headache... if i eat ANYTHING within an hour of playing, or an hour before i play, it will come right back...

anyway to solve this? or just keep going until my body gets used to it?

Hydration isn't something that happens as soon as you drink water. You wanna be well hydrated the day before and the day of exercise. You may just be having dehydration headaches, which are common if you don't really pay attention to your water intake.

Try bringing a half gallon jug to work with you. I can guarantee it will help to some extent. Also, how's your diet?

I'm a college kid as well, so no excuses :p What is "a lot of water?" Your definition and my definition may be different. I'm 150 pounds and I usually drink 3/4 gallon of fluid a day. Also, two unhealthyish meals a day isn't that good for ya, man. That will definitely effect your energy levels and your recovery in all physical activity.

Yeah, I'd probably say that, especially for playing basketball, you might wanna drink more the day before and day of. Along with that, you gotta make sure to drink during the game (during breaks, etc) to replace the fluid you're losing. Maybe get that diet in check a little bit too? Those are the two things people take for granted when they look to improve performance (or even perform just without headaches).

L2D (learn to drink!) I'm with SC on this one, sounds like not enough fluids!

I second SC's comments:

1. Dehydration is the most likely culprit. Hydration tends to be a slow process, so drinking more on the day of a game may not be enough (and drinking right after the game may be too late to avoid painful side effects like you're seeing). You need to keep yourself well hydrated at all times, especially starting a couple days before strenuous activity, and then make sure to replenish fluids during the game as well. For games under an hour, drinking some water during breaks is typically enough. For longer games, consider drinking something like gatorade.

2. A poor diet could be at fault too. If you don't eat enough food to fuel your body, you can easily end up feeling like crap. Basketball burns a whole lot of calories per hour, so make sure you eat a solid meal a few hours before the game.

3. Finally, it is possible that your body is just not used to the strain of extended exercise. Consider playing at half pace, or shorter games, or taking more breaks for a little while. Let your body adapt and gradually ramp your way up.
