Ugh, first college interview tomorrow

I've got my first interview tomorrow with Brown university alumni. It's one of my top choices for admission, so I really want things to go well.

I wanted to know how student-based these interviews are, as I only have these questions

"What's your rate of retention from freshman to sophomore year?"

"Approximately how much money do you give out in merit scholarships?"

"What percentage of your graduating premed class go on to Brown's medical school?"

I'm nervous as heck. I feel like I'm going to crash and toast.

Yeah, you're a real fvcking comedian. Looking for company?

Stupid thread crappers. I swear, almost everyone here tries to be a comedian and fails miserably.

well if you go in acting like a tight ass like you are now, they might ask you if you need anal to help you loosen up.

**pun intended**

Well, just hold a conversation! "What did you like most about Brown?" "Really? Wow, why did you get involved in that?" etc. Usually it'll flow decently well from there.

why did i take all those ap courses if you're not gonna give me credit?

ask him/her what do they regret not doing and or doing and would they do it again even if they regretted it : P.

ask: how was your experience

also: ask for advice, older people love giving advice.

Use the following question:

if you can do brown all over again, what would you do differenty? would you try and do something?

Just relax, they are not going to bite you. Just be cool and have a normal conversation. They just want to see if you really want to go there. Show your enthusiasm. Say something along the lines of, "I always wanted to attend Brown. Man, I don't know what I'll do if I got rejected. Maybe I'll go postal and just kill a bunch of alumnis or something." Something along those lines. Best of luck 🙂

Good luck man. Just play it straight. Already been accepted to VA Tech. Not as hard to get into as Brown, but hey, i'm done. On the brightside, i had a ROTC scholarship interview. Play it straight, no bullshit, and don't piss yourself.

Ask him about course selection if he had a major thatyou are interested in. Ask about student life there, w hats there to do etc. Ask about any good things to bring to college that you might not think up. Also ask him what he liked about brown etc etc
