Can't stand the store and their clothes suck. Bought some pajama pants and they only lasted a year. Prices are through the roof and the quality is no better than most other stores.

Old Navy has decent clothes and I can usually pick up a pair of jeans for $20. Tell me where else you can get jeans that cheap that'll last for at least 2 years or a $5 t-shirt every year.

aren't they ykk like every other zipper on the planet?

It wasnt really the actual zipper, but the little piece of elastic attached to them, would always fall off, or stick straight out, making a little point in your shirt right there, which errmmm....looked...odd.

It's on average with Gap and Structure/Express. If anything is overpriced it's Banana Republic. Abercrombie has a nice overall fit and nice durability, moreso than Gap and S/E. If you don't like it stfu

Are you guys not just upset because you see all these good-looking prep guys dressing nice and getting the ladies.

Personally I like Abercrombie, AE, Gap, Randy River, etc... They all have good looking clothes, so who cares if you pay more $ for them?

Hell, work out, get your arms and chest a little bigger then wear a nice ribbed T w/ some jeans... you're styling.

No, that's not it. :) I think it more has to do w/paying an @ss load of money just to end up looking like everyone else. The lack of self expression kinda bugs me too. I mean, if you can't even dress yerself (you have to rely on a store to tell you what to wear) you have some issues IMO. ;)

Funny story (well it was funny when it happend), back in college a coupla years ago I went w/a friend to a party and every guy there (20-30 of 'em) was dressed the same. It was like I'd walked into an A&F modeling show or something. I started busting up as soon as I took a look around the room. What made it even funnier is I stuck out like a sore thumb (19hole Docs, black pants, black straight jacket) and I knew there were whispers and looks as I made my way thru the house. The irony still tickles my funny bone today (I was shocked that they all looked the same and they were shocked I looked different).

Anyway... I shop at department stores (Kohls, LS Ayres, etc.), concerts, and the occasional eclectic clothing store. And I'll take a punk, goth, or metal chic over the "ladies" frat boys end up w/any day of the week.

Can somebody tell me where I can buy a hooded sweatshirt that doesn't have anything written on it? No logo or picture or anything... off topic but I want to get a couple. :)

You ain't kidding. They tried to dress me when I was in there. He said "boo" lets try this. I walked out so damn fast I almost ran over mall security.

if you get a girl a present from abercrombie like a nice sweater or shirt (depending on the season), they would be totally happy.

I can't afford A&F? LOL. Anyways as far as quality is concerned I have several pairs of pants from there that have lasted way longer than three years but I have clothing from other stores that have lasted just as long. Are you in 9th grade or something? You seem to totally personify what A&F is trying to accomplish. They have you hooked line and sinker.

I shop at A&F from time to time as I used to really love structure buy they fvcked that place up. I mostly shop at AE, BR, EB, Department Stores, etc.

I bought only one thing from Abercrombie and that was a pair of khakis that I found to be lacking a few weeks later.

Every so often I do hit Bannana Republic and can find a few good clearance sales.

Otherwise I stick with Gap, Old Navy, and Structure (but they becoming worse I think).

"gayanized".....wow, that's great, mature too. ^_^ This is what I mean by how "interesting" threads get when you discuss clothes...for my build and tastes, I think I look better in A|X, BR, Club Monaco and Express than I do A&F, Aero, American Outfitters et al. Doesn't mean I'm gay or that I'm any different....

But I guess I don't really expect too much out ATOT in respect to maturity and whatnot.

How is saying Express Gayanized their stores being immature? I direct this question to the man who's forum nick has "Yoda" in it.

This time of the year is a prime time to buy unwanted christmas gifts on Fleabay. Check on there for abercrombie stuff. You should find it on there new with tags for a helluvalot cheaper than retail.

Besides, only suckers pay retail.

I have never had a problem with you either. I just wondered why you said it was immature when that is EXACTLY what they did. I have heard that same comment from about 70 other people that used to shop at Structure as well! Sorry if I offended you as that wasn't my intentions.

Fashion changes with public taste, and I'm sure they had their reasons...I was moreso just commenting on the term "gayanized", but if you can't see anything wrong with the word, I can't force you. I also just don't like people generalizing sexual preference in an insulting manner to be associated with clothes...I'm not gay, but I also don't think that it's wrong to be gay either...the women I see going into that store with guys are quite good looking, and I don't think they're all just "friends". No amount of "arguing" will change anyone's mind here, and regardless of whether or not I was insulted, I'm going to bed (f*cking 8:30 class...), and I won't care in the morning.
