I say Silva cleans out LHW, then moves up to the Heavyweight division. After he defeats Lesnar via Dragon Punch he'll move on to fighting mecha and mythical beasts. Silva vs the Minotaur? Make it happen Dana White.

Silva won't fight Machida because he is a fellow Brazillian and a champ. It would be disrespectful for him to move up a weight class and take his belt.

Seeing Penn destroy Florian on the ground was really impressive. Kenny is supposed to have good BJJ, but Penn showed just how big the gap is. Great fight.

As far as Silva, I knew he would win, but I was shocked at how easily he dispatched Griffin.

GSP vs Silva in my mind is dead. Silva needs to fight LHW. Machida vs. Silva would be amazing.

Forest is a brawler. Silva is way out of his league, he's very technical. It was fun watching him toy with Griffin with his hands down, and just out of reach of Forest.

Kenny Florian's corner sucked. There's a post fight interview with BJ, where he says "his punches were so weak" and "i had an unlimited gas tank". BJ also says how Kenny's corner was yelling out everything so BJ knew what he was going to do before he did it. pretty funny stuff.

As it turned out, Forrest ran off because he was "so emotional" again. He was heard shouting as he ran away "i have to find Bubba!" 😛

LOL, I just saw the fight! Anderson exposed Forrest for the shitty fighter he is. Anderson is awesome, but when you put him up against a shitty fighter, he looks even MORE awesome! LOL, man, that was GREATNESS!!!

Griffen is far from a shitty fighter. The problem with this fight was Forrest was more concerned with putting on an exciting fight than one he could win. He has great leg kicks - which he didn't use. He has awesome GNP - which he didn't use. He stood and tried to bang with Anderson so the fans could see an exciting fight. Which was his downfall. Also the people sayin Forrest has a glass jaw, nope. He had already been rocked before the final shot. He took power shots from Rampage and didn't go down. I wish his game plan had been better. I'm not saying he would have won if he tried to take Anderson down and GNP him, but he could have looked a whole hellova lot better. Forrest banged with Rampage for 5 rounds and beat Shogun, hardly what I'd call a shitty fighter. It just wasn't his night at 101.

Fighting is all about match-ups, he obviously just doesn't match-up worth a damned with Silva. He was going to eat big shots trying to take Silva down, and watching Silva easily avoid Forrest when he attacked, I think Silva's speed and mobility would have kept him from getting taken down.

I think Silva would have been very hard to catch with leg kicks too, Forrest is just too slow for him.

I think Dana should throw Hendo @ Silva one more time and then, well, yeah if that doesn't end in Hendo's favor I think beasts and dragons might be the only option left for Anderson. I believe him when he says he won't fight Machida.

I'm a huge Dan Henderson fan, so even though I know he's an underdog, with that right hand he's got a shot against anyone.

I love Hendo but Silva != Bisping. He's not stupid enough to keep circling INTO his power hand, especially after his corner specifically tells him "hey dumbass you're circling into it" and Bisping ignores it.

There's no one left at 185 to challenge him. Hell there's few at 205 that probably can. Most everyone at 205 wants to stand and bang. We all saw how well that worked out for Forrest. Even if you get Silva down, well, he's as limber and flexible as any BJJ black belt.

i would have rather seen tito vs. silva at 205 ... and watch silva cave in that punkin head.

How is it a good matchup/challenge? Tito is a washed up, wanna be stand up, I'd rather lay on you and GNP you. He couldn't do squat against Silva's teammate Lyoto.

he also didnt get ktfo against lyoto. i think titos got some boxing, and great gnp. if he can get it to that point i think he'll have a good chance of pounding out silva.

Actually Tito came VERY close to choking out Lyoto with a triangle choke. He then tried to turn it into an armbar, which allowed Lyoto to escape. That said, would love to see Silva splatter Tito as well, which is what would happen.

Machida had the flu when he fought Tito, he still dominated him. But I think if he had been 100% Tito wouldn't have made it out of the first round. If a sick Machida can smack Tito around like it was nothing, I'd give him little chance against Silva. Now he's back in UFC for 4 more fights we might get to see them duke it out. A Tito Vs Machida rematch would be like the first, except Tito would do nothing this time around.

It's a fantastic matchup because we get to see Tito's stupid pumpkin head get pounded all over the octagon while his 8-too-many plastic surgeries skank GF cries in the front row.

I would love to see an Ortiz "comeback". Not because I think he has a chance against any current LHW remotely in contention, but because there are fewer people on earth I'd rather see get badly beaten up.

unwar tito ortiz
