Middleweight bout: Alessio Sakara vs. James Irvin
Heavyweight bout: Cheick Kongo vs. Paul Buentello
Heavyweight bout: Junior dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Light Heavyweight bout: Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones

I'm a fan of Vera's technical striking style and hope he gets another win but Jones is no joke either. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this goes the other way.

Wow, Irvin at 185 is unreal. He was shredded at 205, I can't beleive he made the cut to middleweight. Hopefully that doesn't hurt him too much, he's an exciting fighter.

Oh and cheating and looking at the undercard - if these fights run short there's some very interesting action to say the least.. :sneaky:

EDIT: Yikes. Unfortunate the night starts out like this but I guess if you get punched in the eye you'd think it'd be a gouge too and ask for some time..

Well, cancel that. I knew we had Vs. at one point with Dish Network, and I'd be willing to buy up one package, but not all the way to the top 250 package to get it. You can watch it on ufc.com, but it's 10 bucks.

WOW, what a textbook left hook by JDS to end that fight. That dude's legit. I can't wait for him to fight Velasquez.

And with that we salvage what has been for the most part a pretty weak card due to injuries and whatever. I'm really disappointed they just cram commercial after commercial in every nook and cranny and haven't even remotely entertained the thought of airing one of the undercard bouts. Definitely not watching the next one of these live on Versus if they do it again, I'll snag it online or watch it Tivo'd at someone's house.

Here's to hoping the main card doesn't disappoint..

There has just been a lot of weird shit on this card. I don't recall so many fouls and people getting points deducted on one show before..

That elbow was friggin brutal.
