Who do you think should be on the televised card?

My guess is Ben Henderson vs. Clay Guida. I think that matchup is awesome, two great fighters running around like their ten cups of coffee were laced with speed.

I think the main event (given who is healthy and available) should be the Reem vs. Frank Mir. Though it'll probably something lame like Ortiz vs Franklin or Machida vs Davis (the latter could be a good fight, or a snooze fest, not the first impression they would want to make)

What do you think? It's already been said it'll only be two fights so they don't try to compete with the manny fight that night.

My understanding is Joe and Mike will still call it. Fox is bringing in their own people (gus johsnon probably) for the pre/post fight shows. Production still remains in control of UFC, though they will be redoing the look.

I can see maybe adding a third person, but I don't think they'll get rid of joe and goldberg anytime soon. Especially joe because with fear factor coming on again, that's another bigger personality that more people will recognize.
 
It will be interesting to see who they put on the fight card since it will only be 2 live fights.

Joe and Mike would be good news. Gus Johnson is great with march madness but atrocious with MMA.

UFC needs The Voice to liven up some of the boring fights lately. If he were here now he'd come up with a great analogy relating to boring. Something to do with moles or gophers or something.

He is pretty damn entertaining when he commentates, that's for sure.

Some of his The Voice vs. pieces are actually pretty good. He sucks up a little too much, but I like how he has the "fan" vibe with interviews.

The link above is partially blocked here, but it seems like fox sports is carrying the remainder as well. Marginally better but still weird.
 
Bendo vs Guida is going to be explosive as all hell. They'd be absolutely retarded not to put that fight on the card. BTW why are we skipping this weeks card? Leben vs Munoz baby, first 5 round main event. I got Leben winning via KO.

This weekends card isnt bad, I agree Leben by KO. It's a shame the bendo/guida fight isn't on Fox, only way to see that one is on Facebook. Even if the main event lasts 10 seconds they are only showing one fight.

According to the UFC site, the main event is on Fox and the rest is on Facebook and Foxsports.com.
 
UFC closing the year with a bang. Lots of incredible fights coming up and this one is a great way to take us in to the finale at the end of December when we’ll see Brock take on Overroid.

For this one I have JDS knocking Cain out in what can technically be termed an upset. It's just about even money right now though, and I'll be interested to see how or if the line moves much. In all honesty I feel the UFC brass has done all they can to protect Cain much the way they did Bisping, as in each case they've been eager to provide the folks in the UK and now Mexico with a reason to cheer.

If we go by resumes alone Cain hasn't fought anyone outside of the robotic Kongo (who nearly KO’d him) and a washed-up Big Nog who posed any threat at all standing. JDS on the other hand has fought a ton of guys with good power and strikes and destroyed them all. I think Cain is a good boxer, but Dos Santos is on a different level. Cain’s only chance IMO is to get a decision win by turning this into a wrestling match. Even then, Carwin didn’t exactly have a lot of success putting JDS on his back, so there’s that.

In the other remarkable fight on this card I see Benson Henderson beating Clay Guida by unanimous decision. Ben is a bad matchup for Guida; he’s basically his clone but better in every area.

Very excited for the UFC’s foray into a major TV deal. It’s a good time to be an MMA fan.
 
Are there house odds on this and is there a place to legally bet online? Sounds like people think JDS will win, but I'll gladly take Cain, especially if the price is right.
