That wasn't an awful card. Free on TV, and it's about what you'd expect for it. They really need to up it for PPV though. King Mo had his fight. Avoided a lot of Rampage's game of standing and banging.
 
If Mayweather/McGregor happens, Conor is going to have his ass handed to him. Not sure what he is thinking but the fame has gotten to his head. I mean either way he gets massively rich, so perhaps it's all about the money. But as far as thinking you can win? It's nuts.

Money first, and some dose of megalomania mixed in. McGregor doesn't have anything to lose if he's able to score $20M that he otherwise never could get. When he loses, he'll ask Mayweather to fight an MMA match (and obviously get turned down). And then scream to the world that Floyd's a pussy. 😀

You'll still have guys like ESPN's Dan Rafael that will breathlessly marvel at Floyd winning all 10 rounds against a non-boxer while run^H^H^H dancing the night away.

Perhaps at no age. If Floyd keeps himself fit like BHop, McGregor will age as well and I don't see when he'd ever be a better boxer than Floyd.
 
McGregor will make (if the UFC doesn't get their 50% they want) more than $20 million. Mayweather's team wants 80/20 split and it isn't unrealistic to think the fight will bring in more than $200 million. Mayweather Pacquiao made like $350 million.

Mayweather is undefeated as a pro. Undefeated.

And only a couple years removed from his last fight. Mayweather is arguably the greatest defensive boxer pound for pound to exist. Conor has no shot.

mma friend of mine was in a boxing ring sparring with a friend.
he did a leg kick out of pure instinct when his friend was landing combos.
since it was a boxing gym, everyone watching was WTF dude?!
