UFC Fight Night Sun Jan 17th 10pm/7pm ET/PT FREE

Cruz appears to finally fight for the title again...this should be pretty awesome...provided the next few days are injury free, lol.

Good fights so far.

Going to be rough getting up at 5AM tomorrow but I'm determined to watch the main card.

Unbelievable...A 49-46's for each fighter...didn't see that coming.

The only shock was the disparity between the judges, but damn, Cruz had dillashaw's timing, except some brutal kicks.

I had Cruz 3-2, with Cruz winning the first 3, and Dillashaw marginally winning the last two. That one judge had it 49-46 Dillashaw! No way he won 4 rounds. In any event it was a good fight. I kept waiting for Dillashaw to really connect at least once, but he never really did. Even Faber knocked Cruz down a few times, and I kinda thought Dillashaw's striking was better than Fabers.

the one judge was insane. 49-46? wtf.

i can see 3-2 either way. I thought cruz had it but if it went DJ i wouldn't have callled it a steal or wrong.

it was a hell of a fight. cruz had DJ's timing and more then a match for speed. DJ's kicks though were what kept him in the fight.

I think TJ missing so wildly and so often really hurt him. It kinda made Cruz's evasiveness look like extra points. Once TJ slowed down and picked his shots more it looked closer because his hit percentage was higher. Whats amazing about Cruz's movements is afterwards it turned out that Cruz had plantar fasciitis. I once got that while hiking, and I couldnt do anything significant on my foot for awhile.

I thought given the circumstances Cruz was unbelievable. I had it 3-2 Cruz as well. The ref in the Brown fight should be fine/fired. 2nd eye poke should be automatic point deduction. It basically caused Meathead to be unable to see out of one eye, fight should have stopped there for a NC.

You would be surprised what adrenaline and testosterone can do.

Eh I blame the refs far more than I blame Browne. It was an accident both times. He should have stopped it immediately after the second, deducted a point and asked the doctor to determine if a stoppage was needed.
