Killer card this weekend to kick off FS1. While I don't really like Sonnen headlining another card, this should still be kick ass. Definitely looking forward to the whole thing, Ubereem, Matt Brown, Uriah, Urijah, McGregor, Lauzon...stacked card!

UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen

Date: August 17, 2013
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Venue: TD Garden
Broadcast: FOX Sports 1, Facebook

MAIN CARD (FOX Sports 1, 8 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX Sports 1, 6 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook, 4:30 p.m. ET)

great card and great job with the post!

Now to see what channel it is.

damn overeem? he better win. between the steroid issues and then losing to bigfoot he needs a WIN. He should get it.

the main event is interesting. it should be a good fight

Here's to hoping Fox Sports 1 and 2 end up on my tier of channels (Digital economy) on Comcast. Probably not but hoping so.

From my understanding if you get the Speed channel, you'll get FS1, it turns into it on Saturday. TimeWarner, DirecTV, and Dish all signed on last night, everyone else (comcast and others) were already on board.

They are saying it will be in 90 million homes, so I would imagine as long as you get a basic "digital" service, you'll get it.

He went back to holland and trained with Mikes gym again for the first half of his camp. Really hoping to see him in his true form, otherwise, ya he's done if he doesn't look good this time.

Also, the latest episode of the Reem is out on his website. I always enjoy watching them, whether you like him or not. Curious how much it costs him to do those, the production value is very good.

SPEED for Comcast is pretty high up in the Tiers in my area and not in my current package. I have also heard they are indeed trying to get it to be on basic though.

8pm EST?!

thx.. i would have been late by 2hrs.

and sonnen is back in the ring?! thoguht he retired and was goin to be a commentator?
or did he lose out that gig to Stann?

Brown Vs Pyle should be a great fight, same with Doomsday. I hope to see Overreem get KO'ed, don't like his smugness. But a W would probably lead to Reem Vs Velasquez. Would love to see Cain do him like he did JDS. I have nothing against JDS, but man Cain wrecked him

Sonnen is no slouch!!!! And speaking of loosing I believe he man handled Stann like when they fought, had in in full mount, side control, knee on belly you name it. He is one of my favorite fighters and true gladiator, although one dimensional with his wrestling and refusal to learn BJJ... But I love him..

i was talking about commentator gig.
both sonnen and stann were commentators for FOX tv ufc fights.
in the last ufc ppv fight stann replaced rogen as commentator which surprised me. i thought sonnen was trhe better.

and when sonnen lost his 3rd try for a belt, i thought he retired?

So did I hear right, is this just taking over the existing Speed channel feed, or is it a separate thing you need to subscribe to? I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this.

I would be interested in watching some of these fights as long as I don't have to pay an additional PPV cost.

As of this AM, DirecTV, Dish Network and Time Warner Cable are replacing Speed with fox sports 1, no separate subscription from you required. (yet.)

I'm most looking forward to the Overeem/Browne fight I think. I'm also interested in seeing if Matt Brown can keep his streak going.

prelims- they list which fighter is the vegas fav and underdog.

wish they did this for ppv events
