It may just happen. Probably not either of their next fights, but perhaps the fight after next. I believe I saw an interview with Dana White or one of the Fertittas that mentioned if that was the fight that the fans want (the one that would sell tickets/ppvs) then that's what would happen. That's pretty much the only reason this GSP/BJ fight happened.

It'll be interesting to see what happens. Silva seems like a thin 185 so the weight differential might not be as dramatic. Plus they have realy different styles of fighting. Oh man im excited just tinking about it

Lyoto Machida...that was one of the most impressive displays I've seen in the ufc. Roughly four punches...resulting in roughly 2 knockdowns and 1 knockout, lol.

GSP...was that bj penn he was fighting, or a random teenage girl from the audience?

lol, it was funny listening to the announcers hype up both fighters from the start, then as it became more apparent that GSP was winning, they switch to only hyping GSP. They hyped it up to be the best fight in UFC history, but it ended up being the worst fight of the night.

u hit the nail on the head..my thoughts exactly.

BJ said he would make GSP quit and HE QUITS.. IM exstatic!!!😀

HAH! I just got back from the bars since my friends weren't able to meet me (whatever)...I've been talking up GSP all week and watching Penn's comments on UFC Primetime make me feel great about GSP's win. Talking shit about "if you tap from punches, you're a little bitch"...who's the bitch now, "bro". That was complete and utter domination - the description of Penn was something about how he was a good boxer...GSP dominated the standup other than a few errant jabs from Penn. After the 2nd round, GSP was able to take down BJ and then all of a sudden...what happened to that famous "rubber guard"?

I don't think that was a bad fight at all. BJ got a few good hits in early on, avoided takedowns and then got his little pussy handed to him. My mancrush on GSP is now completely consuming. That guy's a stud 😀

Lyoto the Karate Dragon Ninja Machida!!!! Damn I am so happy he knocked out thiago. Title shot time baby!!
