I'm actually going to call him, GSP, to win when he fights Serra in 2008. Though my wife says that's not fair as Serra is recovering from a serious spinal injury, and she's right. 🙁
 
lol, she's fiesty but small. I have fun watching this stuff with her, it's better than gray's anatomy or some other chick TV b.s. 🙂
 
GSP was a beast tonight. he looks like he's one of the best *athletes*, not just one of the best fighers, in welterweight.
 
I can't believe Silva lost. He didn't follow through when he had the chance and didn't take the fight to the ground. Should've won that fight. Also made Japan look real bad!

No joke. You know he's training for the 2008 Olympics for wrestling? He didn't even wrestle until he decided to get into MMA. Now that's amazing. He deserved to win, hands down.

Why? Rampage gave Chuck a beatdown... Rampage lost to Silva everytime but I think Silva was on something when he was in Japan (that's why he was so dominant). Probably can't use it with the stricter drug testing here

The ref didn't stop it per say, Matt was yelling to the reff "I tap! I tap! I tap!". Hughes tapped out.
 
Considering how lackluster Chuck seems to be against dominant strikers (i.e. Rampage), I am sort of glad to see him actually win a fight against an opponent who prefers to just stand and bang. Am I the only person surprised that fight went all three rounds? 😕 I wonder what's next for Wand.

The GSP vs. Hughes fight... simply put, it was pure domination. Once GSP (hopefully) puts a winning streak in order, maybe Fedor is going to lose his PBP best fighter in the world ranking. 😉
