A real Mexican would have used guns rather than training for MMA.

I have always wondered what would happen when you see them searching the fighter before they entered the ring. If they found a knife etc, would they get a DQ, or just take the weapon.

Going with the underdog. Werdum is so much better than people give him credit for. Cain's best weapon will be his cardio.

Looks like I called it. Too bad Cain left his cardio back in San Jose... 😛

So happy for Werdum. His career has been a great story.

Hasnt Cain fought there in the past? I swear he has.. If so that was a bit lazy of him to skip out in the high alt training..

I know he tore a MCL and couldnt fight late last year. Wonder if that injury had anything to do with this?

The last time he fought was 10/19/13. I would think ring rust and conditioning was more of a factor than any preexisting injury. He looked fine for the first few minutes.

its called advanced drug testing

That actually crossed my mind while I was watching the fight. It is hard to say... Cain's next performance should tell us a lot more.

He's never been popped for a banned substance yet, so innocent until proven guilty, I suppose.

A lot of guys are going to look different in the second half of this year, that's for sure.

Given his time off, it's more likely he juiced because he did not have an upcoming fight for a long time, and hence no chance of a random test.

yup, cain pwned round 1.

then he was exhausted at the end of round2.
looks like he under estimated fighting at 7000ft. Too bad for him Werdum didn't and trained there for 2 months.

and WTF did cain's corner telling him to take Werdum down in round 3?!?

if cain needed time to recover then just pin werdum against the cage and hang off him.
you gain rest while werdum has to work against your weight on him.
win/win

He will either sit around waiting for the rematch until Werdum is ready to fight or fight others.

Are there any heavy weight guys he hasn't fought?

if cain is supposed to get a rematch then he would be stupid to fight someone else and risk losing.

that's why Hendricks refused to fight anyone else till GSP was done w/his movie.
