UFC 154: GSP vs Condit (Champ vs interim champ) @11/17 10pm EST

The problem with Conduit going after GSPs knee is that GSP is the best wrestler with the best take downs in the UFC and if you start throwing kicks his way...

Yup. Condit is good off his back but it is very unlikely he can pull off a submission from that position. No one that GSP has fought has been able to sub him off their back. Impressive considering how much time he spends in the top position.

Condit does stand a chance on the feet, though. He is a guy who has something like a 98% finish rate and we know GSP can be knocked out. I think Condit will have the speed advantage tomorrow, too.

Total toss-up, in my opinion. A lot of it depends on how Georges deals with ring-rust (if any) and how his knee holds up. Without a doubt, Condit will be throwing hard leg kicks.

It was you're right. Both looked exhausted too..

I think this next one will be pretty good with with Kampman and Hendricks.

Why do you say that?

Everything about it. It's for douchebags, by douchebags, and owned by a douchebag. It's more rigged than boxing. It's turned a fairly cool concept of seeing different no rules fighting styles into unending homoerotic groping. Go and look at the stands at a fight, it's the dregs of society that love it.

The only valuable thing that's came out of UFC is that idiots now actually DO wear a sign for easier identification... it just says Tapout instead of idiot.

You think men in panties pretending to fight is different than the UFC?

Not really... but at least most wrestling fans know what it is... entertainment. Wrestlers are great athletes too... just the outcomes are a little more arranged than they are in the UFC.

I can see why someone wouldn't like the UFC. Nothing wrong with that.

I just don't know why someone who dislikes it so much would even open this thread.

Awesome KO by Hendricks, by the way. Finishing Fitch and Kampmann in less than 60 total seconds is ridiculously impressive.
