i have it 5 rounds to 1 in favor of JJ

I will say it was a boring fight heh i was expecting a lot more

You can't blame Jones, he pressed the whole fight, Rashad didn't bring anything.

Henderson is next for Jones. Henderson definitely has the power to do some damage, but at 40 years old he's going to be lacking the speed to do anything. I'd like Hemdo to win, but I don't think he has anything to offer Jones.

Henderson?? lol

both middle weight and light heavy weight divisions are out of contenders.

the only competition for jones right now is if Anderson Silver moves up to LHW, or jones moved up to HW.
Jones supposely walks around at 235 now. Junior Dos Santos walks at 240.

i predict Jones vs Henderson = yawn

Bones has not even peaked yet, that's some scary shat. Hendo has as good a chance as anyone though. One clean h-bomb can put anyone at the corner of queer street and lullaby lane. And if he pounces fast, it is another W for Dan. But, getting in on Jon, is no easy task. And bad things happen to be people that do.

Rory is looking beast! Both the prolific strikers (Makdessi and Wonder Boy) had bad game plans, and did a poor job of cutting off the cage. Wonder Boy looked green on the ground, and showed crappy take down defense.

I would love to see a bones/silvia match.
Timmah? He can barely make 265 if he has too. If you meant Spider, Jon would rag doll him, and Anderson knows it.

Jones did everything to let rashard survive. He could have taken him down in the first round.

What he said in the post fight was telling. He said he proved something to himself for going 5 rounds. I personally think he cares way to much about what the critics say. He needs to go in and finish or hes gonna get cought by something.

The more likely reason for it, was to eliminate any personally lingering doubts he had in his own mind. Confidence is what fuels the fires of victory. Knowing he will not drown if drug into deep water, improves that confidence. He stated he actually swims until he can no longer do it, so he learns to relax when he could potentially drown. Because if he does not panic then, he will never panic in the cage. Make of it what you will.

I can see that too. While he has always been very calm in the ring for some reason I get the feeling beats himself up alot and gets into his own head.

Fedor is, sadly, over the hill. Yes, he won his last fight but who was it against? Don't get me wrong I go back to his Ring fights so I've been a long time fan but his best days are behind him. Jones is on his own level although I do believe he will lose sometime in the near future because Evans is right about him believing his own press.

I think Jones was just overly cautious against Rashad and was somewhat proving to himself he could go 5 rounds. I think he could have easily ended that fight in the earlier rounds if he tried/wanted to.

Henderson has a punchers chance (the best punchers chance of anyone with his H bomb), but like i said above, he's 42 and has slowed down, and is smaller. The odds are against him more than they were Rashad imo.

As for Silva and Jones, I don't think Silva would have much of a chance. I'm a huge Silva fan, but I just don't see how he would beat Jones. At this point, everything Silva does, Jones does better I think. That's not taking anything away from Silva, he's cleaned his division and would clean most of 205 I think, but I don't see how he would be Jones.

I think you're right about going 5 rounds. I just wish Evans would have pushed him a bit more. The last two rounds he just stood there. It looked to me like Evans got touched by Jones and he didn't like it. I think against Hendo Jones would take it to the ground to stay away from that right hand. Something I'm wondering is how long will Jones be able to make 205 once he gets a little older.

a Silva - Jones fight would be great, because it would most lilely be the first Silva fight that was not a total snooze fest

The main event was a snoozer, Jons is no doubt a great fighter the likes we haven't seen before, but that was his worst fight in the UFC.

Also, he continues to find new ways to no make me like him. Seeing him dance around with the belt around his waist several times in the ring, after that horrible performance. Get a clue already.

Jon does not walk around at 235, he said he was 224 fight night.

Why are people even suggesting Fedor vs. Bones? Fedor will be lucky if he ever sees the inside of a UFC ring. Fedor was crushed by Hendo, the same guy, short of his right hand no one is giving a chance vs. Bones.
