Now this is a card worth the money.

Shogun by Tko in the 2nd. Silva by Tko in the first. Old Nog gets pounded for 2 3/4 rounds then slips in a leg bar and wins by sub.

Who is Luiz Cane fighting. I haven't kept up with mma as of late. Last I looked Cane was one of the up and comers. Is this still the case?

Not so much anymore, Lil Nog de-railed that train, then he lost another one. Won his last fight though.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked for this card. Who watched last nights fights on VS? The Ben Henderson/Jim Miller fight was crazy. I like ben henderson, thought he could win, hoped he could win, but I never thought he would dominate Jim Miller like that. There are so many good matchups to be made at 155. I like Cerrone vs Lauzon as much I like Lauzon vs Guillard

Almost every fight on that card was outstanding. Ben was one of the guys that definitely made a statement though.

Props to Hettes for putting away Bruce Leroy; that kid annoys me. I'm also wondering if Herman tore ligaments in Noke's knee. That is the problem with knee and ankle attacks, by the time you feel the pain enough to tap, it is often too late. And Ludwig put on a striking clinic.

Sadollah's front kick really accentuated the difference between the thai style push kick and a mae geri keage/snap front kick. All the thai style does, is piss you off. It is also considered very disrespectful in Thai culture, to show someone the bottom of your feet. Kicking them in the face? it is on like Donkey Kong.

As to UFC Rio: Let's hope none of the fighters suffer a last minute injury. Because that has been happening way too often.

cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Betting lines have it at Okami ~ +375. Almost a four-to-one underdog...if I was a betting man, I'd put some $$$ down on Okami.

I really hope shogun, nog, and silva win. Shogun probably will, I think silva will as long as he avoids the takedowns he'll be fine. Nog is the one I'm most worried about.

Anderson Silva is proof some people look absolutely terrible with shaved heads. His head is shaped like a light bulb. Just an ugly, ugly head.
