Damn Cruz. I didn't watch that much of the WEC but I know in his last fight against Benavidez, Cruz would just take him down at the end of every round. If they don't do anything with the takedown it shouldn't count for anything.
 
Goldie and rogan piss me off so much. Cruz does wreckless takedowns and they both fall down and get back up but they make it seem like Cruz did something special. Crazy fight... Going to be hard for the judges. I had Faber winning rounds 1 and 3, and round 2 as a tie.

Same boat, I thought the cards should have been 48-47 to either fighter. I thought Faber landed the more signification blows as when he did Cruz fell to the mat and their faces reflect it (Faber's looked much better then Cruz after the fight).

It was a great card. Great finishes but I'll only mention the fights that I really got excited for.

I was so pumped that Tito rocked and finished Bader, simply because of the old guard vs. new guard.

Next fight I was devastated in how fast Wandy was finished. Same reasoning, so hard to watch it after all the build up.

Then the poor judging score cards in the main event, 50-45 was just retarded. Cruz landed his pitter patter punches/kicks to win points but was never going for a finish. When Faber landed power punches Cruz fell.

Still, overall great card.
 
judgeing has always been a issue. i was not to surprised though at the score of the cruze/faber fight to many judges see takedowns as something more then a knockedown. IF you get a take down and the guy popped right up it shouldn't count.

i am really surprised tito beat badar. but good for him.

as for silvia/leben you can't ever count teh guy out. when he is hurt he changes gears and he gets deadly. the guy is nuts.
 
I am still in shock that Tito won. I am also mind boggled how they gave a unanimous decision to Siver over Wiman.

His grave digging crap is about as up to date as his fight game. The sport has evolved, he has yet to, Bader got caught and choked out, it could happen to anyone.

Then why don't you get in the ring with Bader IF it's so easy? A win is a win. Bader is overrated.

The Siver fight wasn't a shock. The first round could have gone either way, round 2 Wiman won, round three Siver won. He won a split decision. The judges actually got it right.

For what it's worth Dana said him and Beiber talked about it and both thought Siver won too 😀 I don't know if he was being serious but if it's true. The idea of Dana and Justin discussing MMA and fights makes me chuckle.

All 5 of us watching the fight felt Wiman got robbed. Guess we have to go back to what Dana has always said, never leave it in the hands of the judges.

Or you could realize how rounds are scored and not be shocked.
