I have watched MMA maybe half dozen times. This is about the most unwatchable stuff.

This is the first UFC event I'm watching. There was a lot of hype around this, and many of my friends were watching so I thought I'd watch, just to fit in:awe:

Really, I find it an okay fight. A lot of grabbing and all that, but I'm guessing that's what this sport is mainly about.

After the first, I think you're right.

For the record, that was posted before the fight started on my screen. ;)

I think many forgot how athletic and well rounded Evans was before Machida plastered him.

Evans took this fight to Rampage and completely redeemed himself.

The fight definitely didn't live up to the hype. Rampage seemed almost scared.

He wasn't scared he was gassed. If he had anything left in the tank he would have been able to follow that flurry in the 3rd with more punishment while Rashad was still hurt. That was his only chance to finish it.

He looked rusty. Coming into camp 30-40 pounds too fat didn't really help him here methinks.

Huh? Did you not have sound during the interview?

well, I posted that before his interview. He did give him credit, but I expected to see a fist bump in the least right after the decision. Be a man and go up and congratulate the dude who kicked your @ss.

He blew it by letting Rashad recover after he had him rocked. I just don't get it.

thats twice Rashad got lucky!

in Rashads last fight a couple of months ago, his opponent also let him off the hook after rocking him.

i dont get it either.

I watched a little bit of this fight, and it was pretty obvious to me that they were stretching it out.

I'm guessing that the marketing people don't want 1 or 2 round fights?

I expected better from the last fight, but I'm not surprised at the outcome. Rampage looked tired and had ring rust.

didn't look like he hit him too good. and after that all the follow up punches didn't hit at all

My thoughts exactly. Once they showed it in slow motion you could see Rampage didnt really do that much damage. It looked bad at first though.

KO to the solar plexus was best KO of the night BY FAR

Overtook CroCop's liver kick as my favorite body shot KO ever.

I got Suga Rashad on this one by unanimous decision

Looks like I got lucky. Still lost though since I parlyed Bisping/Duffee/Rashad and Duffee has a gas tank like boss hog.:(

Oh and Jackson did not hit Rashad in almost KO. Rashad shot and ran into Jacksons knee which wobbled him.
