I didn't get to watch the show. How was it not true deadlifts? How was he doing them?

I don't know. I never inquired about that either. Maybe because it was with a Hex bar http://www.muscledriverusa.com/mdhexdebar.html?gclid=CJ_P-av02aACFZZg2godwxsgDg and not old school bent olympic bar power lifting?

Dan Hardy is a big/strong welter weight. I've read he walks around at 185, but I bet it's even higher. But anyone who works out a little bit, understands how much weight that is.

finally a UFC fight worth the $45 price tag.

it's been a while since we had one.

and whats this? april 10th is a SUPER ufc fight card. DOUBLE championship fights!

spider anderson defends his title (FINALLY!)
BJ Penn defends his title
Matt Hughes is back in the ring!

Now this one is definitely worth MORE than the $45!

i don't like BJ Penn. I enjoy watching Hughes though. Haven't seen much of Anderson Silva though.

Did some reading up on it. Seems to add about 100lbs to your normal deadlifts when using the hex bar. So that would put him at about a 400lb max on normal deads. A few years ago when I was lifting more regularly I could deadlift about 415 lbs. So for a professional athlete competing in the UFC I'd say that his lifts are substandard. I was about 190 at the time.Check some numbers on NFL guys. I bet you alot of kickers can deadlift more than that.

Link works for me. Its a sopcast stream in a browser. You need to use I.E.

I tried to find the sopcast channel from the page, but didn't find it.

Wow, cant say I saw that coming. Fitch *is* a grinder. Sauners is hot and cold, huh? He totally dove into the deep end of the pool......

Mir said if he loses, he might be finished?!

WTF?

edit:
