I have an Abit BP6 that has an on board HPT366 controller for ATA66 harddrives... however when I installed Windows XP the drives run extremely slow (benchmarked in Sandra)...

I've tried the Windows 2000 UDMA66 reg fix.. almost no change.. anyone have any ideas?

The bios version is RU and HPT bios is v1.22... also using 1.25.0.1 beta htp366 drivers from abit's ftp site...
