I only have:
HDS EDC U60
Inova XO
Nuwai 1w headlamp
Streamlight 3C Luxeon

1 Nuwai Q3 was lost while hiking. An Inova XO and Nuwai 301-3X were fried with rechargable batteries.

Nah, I want to wait till I can afford a Gen 3 or 4 setup - which will probably be never!

I have a Surefire 6R and bought my dad a 6P last Christmas - we're both happy Surefire owners! I'm considering going to the high output bulb but don't know if I can swallow the 20 minute battery life.

Yeah, had the highoutput lamp in a Black G2Z a while back, ended up selling that setup to get something else. It was wicked bright though.

i am getting my surefire m3 millenium w/ultra high output head. 225 lumens.

That is one hell of a light! I was going to get it but then they re-introduced the 9P and sell it for an awesome $75! Too much bang for the buck there, I had to get one of those instead.

My best flashlight is a Surefire E20-HA Outdoorsman with a 60-lumen bulb assembly... I use it all the time... very handy.

Yeah thats pretty much exactly what the E2e is - its so compact! Love it!

The Night-Ops Gladius is (from what I understand) an incredible piece of engineering. I've heard of a few minor problems with them, and the CEO made an appearance over at Candlepowerforums.com (which is THE place for flashlight and gear geeks to hang out!) and stated that they have some new stuff on the way for 2006 so I'm holding off until I see what they got!

Ditto. The light output is simply AMAZING and such HIGH quality. The build on my Surefire 6P is amazing imo. Precision made and just all around top dog!

Yep, and it's one of those things that you have no idea how you lived without it before having it. I find myself using it several times a day and especially when I work inside a computer case. ;)

My uncle bought me a SureFire L7 digital.
Darn nice but there is no way I would buy one for myself.

Yep. Too expensive for me. Waiting for a U120 along with a huge price drop. :)

Ugh, Maglites. They are just crap in my opinion. The bodies' are ok, and great for modding...

http://flashlightreviews.com/reviews/maglite_3d.htm

Compare the maglite output, throw, and runtime graph to the Propoly 3C Luxeon..

http://flashlightreviews.com/reviews/streamlight_propoly_3c.htm

The Streamlight Propoly 3C is nice, but the 4AA Luxeon has the same output and is a smaller light to carry. With lithiums the runtime is about the same, too.

U120?!?!? Oh, if only! That would rock! I don't see how they would get that much output from a single CR123A cell, maybe 100 lumens?

I want the Fenix L1P myself.

Well, I try to stick with US made stuff as much as possible - and I'm a Surefire whore. :)

The Fenix L1P is getting alot of good reviews, but its made in China - bleh.

Modding a flashlight? I own a 4D Maglite and it works for me. I don't need anything fancy. Heck I have a $20 latern battery flashlight that has seen a lot of abuse and still keeps on trucking.

HDS U120 - well expect a LOOONG wait for that one and secondly, don't expect the price to drop soon. Demand far outstrips production at this point so you know what that means...

Yeah I have a lot of lights but not just flashlights. Some of the systems are costly. The 100 kW Xenon long arc CW system to simulate equatorial insolation levels in Fiji come to mind.

Here we have an Arc AAA premium killer. That thing is tiny!

Yes I like buying US made but if the imports have BETTER stuff and far cheaper what the hell are you going to do? You can't poop them out of your butt so...

Personally, I'd love to see an HDS 100+ lumen (HDS U60GT owner here btw) in 316SS. That would rock.

Cheers!
