Someone mentioned something about a featherbed.
I'm going to purchase a featherbed for a twin, I know the bed sare x-long but should a regular twin featherbed be fine?

Also is this what you guys were talking about when you referred to "featherbeds?" It goes on top of the regular bed correct?

I was in the dorms but I still don't know what a featherbed is. Which unit are you staying in?

I'm going into Unit2.

Someone mentioned that the beds are uncomfortable, and that a featherbed is like a cushion to add onto the mattress which is really soft on the body. Supposedly its really comfortable.

Unit 2 is ok, it's a little farther from campus than Units 1 & 3, but just by two blocks or so. The beds weren't too bad, but I'm not a bed expert. A word of advice, some beds arent'c cleaned thoroughly so you might want to watch out for any weird stains. My roommate moved in before me and said he switched one of the matresses with the room across the hall becuase there was something on it.
