is still the same. I cannot go to hotmail.com or woot.com

I use those as test sites because I know for sure they are not working in Ubuntu right now.

Ok well here's the IP for woot.com:

66.165.70.6

Try to connect to that in firefox. If you can directly connect to it then I'm 99% sure you have some sort of DNS issue.

Before and After the Opendns.com alterations, Woot does not work

If it doesn't work after the official release of Hardy, I'm going to install 7.10 again
This is retarded, it freezes up on update manager, using Sudo in gedit just freezes,
sometimes I cannot even open up system monitor. I didn't have any of these problems
initially with the 8.04 release, but for some reason it all started happening.

Make sure you have a bug report open with ubuntu, or at least a forum post on their dev forum. They can't fix what they don't know about. It's obviously not a common issue.

Actually brother, if you do a search it'll show up. The problem is that Ubuntu requires you to be able to recreate the problem as 1 of X requirements to report a bug. No one knows how to do so.. so far.

I'm done with this because no one can recreate it, so the final release in these weeks to come is not going to have a fix.

I can be on here for all types of software/OS/testing for more than 12 hours a day :) (unfortunately)

I won't get hired without "official" experience :/

At least add to the bug report that you are having the problem, too and don't know how to recreate it. If they know a lot of people are having the problem, they'll look more into it, possibly asking for log files and such.

At this point I would back up my home directory and do a fresh install of 8.04 and see if the problem still exists.

Actually, I'd wait two days and try the release candidate.
