I installed Ubuntu hardy heron (8.04) x64 through Wubi. Could someone help me run Ubuntu through Virtualbox on Vista x64?

I just installed Ubuntu 8.04.1 in Sun xVM Virtual Box. Easy install, everything I have tried works great. I also installed Mint 5. They both run well. I think I like Mint 5 a bit more.

I think I know where my installation is going wrong now. In the VM, after selecting install ubuntu, i get an error that says:
"This kernel requires an x84-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU.
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU."

Virtualbox does not support 64-bit guests. Try VMware server/player or use Ubuntu 32-bit under Virtualbox (which is fine under Vista x64).

Go and download the 32 bit version of Ubuntu. You can then either burn the ISO or you can run the live CD from the ISO. Enable the CD/DVD drive and underneath that you will see the ISO option. Enable it and select the ISO. After you get the live cd up and running you can install the OS in the virtual machine if you still want to.

Well I got it working in 32 bit yesterday. I deleted after a couple hours of trying to install the display drivers and trying to get the sound working. Really frustrating. I might give it another go though.
