Ubuntu on Andriod Nexus One/full desktop

imagine if you could connect an external monitor and keyboard to it and use it as a desktop to type in that long term paper, then unplug it and put your pc back in your pocket.

Did this about a month ago on my Droid with Ubuntu and Debian. Pretty slow even on a 1.1GHz kernel, but figures. OpenOffice even loaded...sloooooooooooooooowly.
