I'm just starting out in Ubuntu and I'm having problems installing the flash plugin for firefox. I downloaded the installer and ran it, but I get the following error message.
ERROR: Your architecture, \'x86_64\', is not supported by the
Adobe Flash Player installer.
Please tell me that there flash support for 64bit linux. If not, what should I do?
Also, do you have to add the programs to sources.list to use apt-get? I'm trying to play mp3s but I can't quite figure it out. So far I got:
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-farsight
but its says that couldn't find the package.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
