So I tried out Amarok, and although it looks slick, the inability to interrupt a currently-playing song was too annoying to bear.

I tried out JuK, and while it worked well enough for basic file playback, it choked when browsing my music library, and it doesn't support streaming audio from Internet radio stations.

Then I tried out Clementine. I now have a new favorite thing

I like DeaDBeeF. It's like a stripped Foobar2000.

Lubuntu doesn't seem to handle dual monitors very well

KDE and Unity understood that the monitors were individual units and treated them as such. LXDE sees the dual monitors as a giant spanned desktop. It's a not a huge deal since window maximization and minimization behavior respect the monitor boundaries, but notification popups are perfectly centered on the desktop, which means they straddle the monitors :\

I think you could probably get it working right if you otherwise like what you see. A little DuckDuckGoing should get you an answer.

Damn it! Now you got me using DuckDuckGo -- been using it for about a month. LoL!

I just hope it doesn't turn into another NSA data-mining tool, like Google Search. D:

DDG is great. Good tools, good results, and no tracking. I've been pulling away from large central services, but it's hard leaving the Google machine. I'll get completely away eventually.
