A year or so ago, I purchased Splinter Cell-Pandora Tomorrow...unfortunately, my rig at the time didnt have enough power to run the game, so I shelved it in anticipation for my next build.
Finally got around to the big upgrade, and SPPT was one of the first game's I installed...of course I was a bit dismayed when the game didn't work. I posted a topic about the problem here:
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow Crash
What is proving most frustrating is that in troubleshooting the problem with the technical support department at Ubisoft, they essentially told me there was nothing they could do after suggesting some fairly generic troubleshooting steps...ones that I already explored to no solution. They went so far as to suggest the problem is with my system, and recommended I take it to a local computer shop for repairs. Not a particularly useful troubleshooting option, given that my system works 100% fine with the exception of their game.
In seeking clarification to this issue, their technical support department continues to close out my questions without even giving me the courtesy of a response as to why they are doing it.
This is probably the worst technical support experience I have ever encountered. Needless to say that I will not be purchasing any Ubisoft games in the near future.
Has anyone else encountered similar problems with Ubisoft? I can't even find a "contact us" link to report this problem to their corporate management...not that I expect to receive any satisfaction from them either.
