This is very far from being hot. The auction doesn't even close until Monday 7pm PT, so the price will be much higher by then.

very good site, I've had the oppurtunity to get like 20 PS2s for retail...but didn't do it...waiting for a price drop.
 
If auctions were not invaded by stupid people these days do you think we would be here looking for hot deals? By the way I believe the rule on PS2 posts was MSRP or better, wasn't it?
 
The worst part about posting auction info on boards like this is that it only serves to attract more attention to the auction and hence raise prices.

Of course we know better than to bid on a PS2 for over retail price, but all too often I have seen Hot Deals go cold because somebody decided to share the auction with the entire world.
 
Man, that price sucks! If you guys so desperately want a PS2, they are $449.88 at Walmart South Edmonton Commons, they have 13 units. Superstore has PS2+SFEX3 for $469. Add GST and they are $481.37 & $501.83 respectively. Adjust for Canadian/US exchange they are $314.62 and $327.99... get someone to ship you one for under US$350... what a rip! If it wasn't for the tax, the PS2 is actually cheaper here in Canada by 2% than it is in the States! 😀🙂:Q😎😛

I agree.Don't even think buying from ubid.I've won an action and they send me the wrong item(instead of a retail DVDRom I've received a try product).It was a pain to make them to accept this thing and to refund my money.Guys is just not worth it.
BTW their shipping is outrageous
