Anyone have experience with Uberti revolvers? I'm particularly looking at the the Uberti Stallion. From what I've read so far, they seem pretty decent. obviously its not a Colt, but I don't have $700+ to spend on one.

Uberti is owned by Beretta now. I have a SAA copy that was $275 new and is a great value. Very nice.

I know some SASS competitors who are national champs in their division and one shoots a Uberti with Wolffe (? think that's it, can't remember the name) springs.

FWIW, Cimmaron is just imported Ubertis that are fancied up.

One of the best values out there.

yeah, i had read that beretta owns them now. if i can find one, i'll think i'll get the stallion.
called a local shop during lunch today. they had never even heard of them and the place they order from doesn't have them in their catalog. the uberti dealer locator did find one place thats like an hour away from me. i have a few other places to check with yet.

ruger and taurus sell some guns like that but they look too modern. i want something that looks authentic.

IIRC mine is an 1873 Cattleman. Just a basic looking old west gun. Have it in the charcoal blue. It's a .357/.38 due to cost of ammo :(

I really don't think you'll be let down with one. They are great, and probably the best value in SASS shooting.
