U2412M 24 for $249. at td

I just got a 1920x1200, 24" IPS, the ASUS VS24AH-P, otherwise I may have got this one instead. The only thing that has always kept me from buying the U2412M is the AG coating it has. But at this price I think I would have tried it out.

They used to suck back in the day, but that was a long time ago, and they've improved drastically since then. They're safe to buy from, now.

U2410 is an 8-bit IPS panel with CFL backlighting and the U2412M is a 6-bit IPS panel with LED backlighting.

I think that this is the cheapest I've ever seen the U2412M.
 
Showing $279.99 for me? Still, this seems like a nice monitor. I paid $250 each (Edit: plus 2-day shipping, didn't want them shipped ground) for my KDS 26" LCD screens, at BuyDig.com, what, 4 years ago? Now that was a deal.

I got my from Amazon for $269 with free shipping.
It is very nice upgrade for me from the LG-W2241T which is a TN monitor.

The AG coating don't brother me and I can't tell the difference between a true 8bit lcd and the U2412M. ()🙂
 
Not meaning to high jack the thread but for those not opposed to refurbished Dell Outlet has Refurb u2412m monitors for $207 after 30% off code: 813XW1Z0995GSV

The code expires today(8-16) and also works on any other refurb monitor in the webstore.

Eg. U2713HM Refurb $418 after code

Not until the sun shines on it.
For a hour a day the sun sneaks in the windows and I must turn the screen to see it.
Under any inside lighting there is no problem.

Refurbish Dell Monitor only have 90days warranty, not worth the saving in this case.
