So I had a question about the U2-UFO case particularly the one with the Original Top (2-120mm fans and half window).

I was curious if anyone has chosen to use the rear dual 120mm fan exhaust to mount a radiator? What radiator they have mounted? Fitiment problems? And most importantly if there was any problem getting the radiator to fit with the to mounted 120mm fan right above it?

It was noted on one build that a person couldn't mount the original top backwards because the 120mm fan interfered with his PA 120.3 on the front 3 fan holes. I am curious if this is also the case on the back 2 for a PA 120.2 or if it is any different due to spacing of the fan holes from the top of the case etc.

Anyone with any experience or knowledge about the dimensions of the U2-UFO Original Top case please chime and and help me.

Thank you.

You CAN mount a PA120.2 on the rear in a bodgy fashion. Attach lower fan to case only. Attach upper fan to case and rad. Rad then hangs from the upper fan over the lower fan. Works fine.

Marci, i believe if you do this, you'll run into the problem the op listed. The top fan can not be mounted, and you'd have just a hole.

But the op is looking for a solution where he can mount the top fans. The PA120.2 leaves a gap inbetween the first and second fan like my PA120.3

Hey if gabe(owner of swiftech for those of you that dont know) says a MCR220 can handle a Q6600 + 2 x 8800GTX <i dont trust these numbers tho> then i dont see how there should be a problem cooling a single or dual gpu on a MCR220.

But op, i wouldnt recomend you doing what gabe says. The cpu should be on its own loop in a case like that.

I am not on my machine ATM or I could share two links to two different projects where both users mounted a 120.2, in addition to a 120.3, to their respective MM U2-UFO cases. In other words, you can use the 120.2 without any problems.

I just ordered a 120.2 from MM. I am going to mount it, two 120MM fans and two Laing DDC Ultras to the back of my case. In other words, the fans will mount to the case, the rad will mount to the top 120mm fan and the pumps will mount to the rad. This pic of how my pumps are currently mounted will give you an idea of how I plan to accomplish the above.
